Coco Tea set up 'Roaring Lion'

Singer Coco Tea has opened 32-track recording studio in Hayes Phase Two in his home parish of Clarendon. Both studio and label will go by name 'Roaring Lion'.

There is his engineer, Leroy "Fatman" Thompson, formerly of Jammy's, and a number of artistes including Charlie Prophet (Anthony Robinson), Selassie Son (Rayburn Henry), Snoopy Lion (Garfield Bissiney), Ras Ahton (Ahton Jones), Ken Serious (Kenton Matthews), Peter Franks (Jackie Joseph Henry) Emperor (Hopeton Lawrence), Bun Dead (Randy Scott), Andrea Sawyers, and Jesse Jendau.

Cocoa Tea says that he has relaxed his interests in both fishing and horse racing "to concentrate fully on the music business now."

He has already sealed distribution deals with Headline Promotions in Kingston and Imaj in Toronto and others are expected to follow covering New York and London.
