Beenie Man faces ganja charge

Beenie Man and three members of his entourage currently touring the United States were arrested and charged with ganja possession in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The four arrested on ganja charges are: Beenie Man, whose name is Moses Davis, 25; Ralston McKenzie, 26; Raymond Ledgister, 26; and Andrew Thomas, 31. McKenzie, Ledgister and Thomas are employed to Shocking Vibes Productions.

The men were arrested Wednesday (July 28) when police acted on a tip about a ganja smell around the band's tour bus. Police seized a small quantity of ganja and $22,000 but later returned the money, which the band said was earnings from a show Tuesday night at a club.
