VP Records ready for it's 20th anniversary concert

VP Records, the world's premier source of reggae music, will hold it's 20th anniversary concert at the Paramount at Madison Square Garden, New York on Monday October 18, 1999.

The concert will feature performances by top-name artists that personify VP's twenty hit-filled years. Buju Banton, Beres Hammond, Freddie McGregor, Anthony B, Morgan Heritage, and many more artists are scheduled to perform.

Part of the proceeds from the event will benefit Jamaica's Alpha Boys School, which has produced many great musicians including trombonist Don Drummond, trumpeter Eddie Thornton, drummer Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace and vocalist Leroy Smart.
