44th Annual Grammy Award Nominees

The Recording Academy (U.S.) announced nominees for the 44th annual Grammy Awards.

Nominees for the "Best Reggae Album" are:

The video Rebel Music - The Bob Marley Story [Palm Pictures] was nominated for the "Best Long Form Music Video", as being coincidence although two sons of Bob Marley were nominated for "Best Reggae Album".

Furthermore from reggae vigor, It Wasn't Me / Shaggy Featuring Ricardo "RikRok" Ducent (Track from: HOT SHOT [MCA Records]) was nominated for the "Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals". In this connection, It Wasn't Me is a single which sold most by U.K. in 2001, and the album Hotshot containing this song recorded the greatest shipment in 2001 in the United States.

The 44th annual Grammy Awards will be held February 27 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
