Lee Perry takes the Grammy
Lee Scratch Perry won the Best Reggae Album with his "JAMAICAN E.T." at the 45th Annual Grammy Awards at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Other nominees ware Alpha Blondy's "MERCI" (Shanachie),
Bounty Killer's "GHETTO DICTIONARY: THE MYSTERY" (VP),
Capleton's "STILL BLAZIN" (VP),
and Freddie McGregor's "ANYTHING FOR YOU" (VP).
